ULTIMATE CRIME FIGHTER

This is quite a good seri just a stupid ending which made me change my opinion bout it.

# of Episodes: 34 (37 in some places)
Cast:
Yuen Biao as Yuen Fo Sung aka Fire Sir) Moses Chan as Wai Tsun Lung aka Bad Duck Gigi Lai as Wong Chi Ying Kevin Cheng as Chong Man Hei Yoyo Mung as Keung Nga Yue
Summary:
I'm going to make this short so I won't spoil it for you! (I'm also going to use their real names b/c its easier for me!)
Main Storyline:
Yuen Biao is a former Hong Kong officer. He quit after an "accident" occured where he kills an innocent teenager. He felt guilty and decided to train with monks to feel better. After 5 years, he joins the force again after an encounter with the supernatural at a performance. He realizes that he has no other choice but to help out with his visions, which are very accurate. When Yuen Biao meets up with his former friend, who is Gigi's dad, he is offered to live in an apartment next to them. There he meets Moses Chan, the man who got kicked out of where Yuen Biao would be living. Little does Yuen Biao know is that Moses is actually an undercover officer who's spying on the triads. Yuen Biao gradually learns the truth about Moses and they become good friends. They tackle on many strange cases along with Yoyo Mung, who became a lawyer after being a head officer/investigator.
Major Spoilers:
When Gigi dies, Moses sets out for revenge, thus, blinding him from what really mattered - the law. He does many bad things: faking evidence, killing Kevin Cheng, etc. This causes his friends, Yuen Biao and Yoyo, to try to help him. When Yuen Biao discovers too much about his bad deeds, Moses knows that Yuen Biao had to be shut up. There was only one thing to do, kill him. Too bad Yuen Biao knew it would happen, for he had already had a vision, and was prepared. This is all I will tell you but if you know more, message/commnet me or something!
Love (Spoilers!):
Moses and Gigi: This was unexpected. They both collaborated in "War and Beauty" but weren't together. They look nice together and they have a lot of chemistry. The storyline revolved a lot around their relationship, which had a lot of ups and downs. When Gigi died, you could tell Moses cared a lot for her. So much that he would do anything to bring her justice. I didn't like how Moses was a bit cold towards her but I liked this pairing. They had a very strong bond.
Moses and Yoyo: These two together was a bit awkward for me. They had a steady amount of chemistry, but they didn't really look good together. Yoyo cared a lot for Moses, but he didn't know until the very end. The fact that they would end up together was kind of obvious, yet their relationship lagged. A lot.
Gigi and Kevin: (Kevin is bisexual in this series) These two looked very good together and I liked their relationship. I didn't really care if Gigi ended up with Kevin or Moses, because they all had great chemistry. Although Kevin was a murderer (OOPS!) he loved Gigi very much. Though Gigi was still in love with Moses, he respected her space and continued to love her. All I can say is, these two should work together more often.
Yoyo and Marco Ngai: I don't get why these two were ever together! It was weird watching these two because they didn't have anything in common!
Yuen Biao and Maggie Siu: This pairing was okay. Not much of a surprise. They did look nice together, like in "Real Kung Fu". Not much to say except that they had a very special connection.
Cast:
Moses: 5/5 (I'm a Moses fan so his review might be a bit biased.) As usual, his acting is perfect. He played his role well and was very good at his emotions. The reason why I like Moses so much is because he is always good at getting into character. I mean it. His role here is different than in "Heart of Greed". He proves that any role is not a problem for him. No matter which role he plays, he stands out and your attention is automatically focused onto him. I only have a few words to say: He totally deserved the awards he got!
Gigi: 5/5 (Again, I'm a fan.) She is always amazing and her acting skills showed a lot in this series. She fit this role pretty well and she is just absolutely wonderful. She is able to play her character easily and without hesitation, no matter how hard the role is. Like Moses, she is just indescribable and no doubt, one of the best.
Yuen Biao: 5/5 I wasn't really surprised when I found out that he would be the hero in the story. I find that he is very good at these kind of roles where he is the good man with so many morals. I rarely see him in modern series, but I think he aced it! I really enjoyed his presence in here and his character was likable, as always.
Yoyo Mung: 5/5 She is definitely improving. I am a fan, but that doesn't mean I can't criticize. Before, she was not able to show emotion well. Her crying used to look so fake and unreal. She has improved. Her emotions are getting a lot better and she has improved her acting skills. She is great in this series and I loved her role.
Kevin Cheng: 5/5 I admit, I was not a big fan of his. I used to be so bored of his roles. This series changed my opinion of him completely. His role here proved me wrong. Here, he showed me that a bad role can't change an actor's skill. He played his part very well and it was his acting that kept me hooked. This is a major change from his usual Prince Charming roles, like in "Under the Canopy of Love". His acting skills are amazing.
